Peakhill Capital’s Toronto Après Party raises $28,000 for Partners for Affordable Housing

Partners for Affordable Housing extends our heartfelt gratitude to Peakhill Capital for choosing to support our mission through their Toronto Après Party—and to every guest who attended and contributed to this incredible evening of celebration and community.

The event brought together more than 1,000 guests, clients, partners and supporters who share a belief in stronger, more inclusive communities. With 100 percent of ticket proceeds supporting affordable housing progress across Canada, that shared energy translated into real impact: Peakhill donated $28,000 to Partners.

Jen Harrop, senior vice president at Peakhill Capital, welcomes the collaborative approach led by Partners for Affordable Housing, noting that “no single entity is going to fix” the housing crisis alone. “Our business model pairs well with this work, and it gives us an opportunity to support non-profits.”

As a leading CMHC-approved lender, Peakhill funded $1.7 billion in mortgages for properties with affordability components in 2024—“a figure we expect to surpass in 2025,” says Harrop. She adds that part of Peakhill’s work is educating for-profit developers and operators that affordability is “a good investment strategy,” offering benefits like lower turnover and stable returns.

Peakhill’s financial donation helps Partners align philanthropy, corporate community investment and social impact financing to unlock capital and help move housing projects forward—faster and with reverberating impact.

“Peakhill’s generosity strengthens this work in a meaningful way,” says Jolene Livingston, CEO and founder of Partners for Affordable Housing. “This $28,000 donation helps us advance partnerships, accelerate development and move closer to a future where more people across Canada have a safe, affordable place to call home.”

Partners is deeply grateful to Peakhill Capital and everyone who made the evening such a success. Support like this keeps the momentum going—and brings affordable housing solutions within closer reach for communities nationwide.
