This November, Partners for Affordable Housing (Partners) is proud to launch our first National Housing Week campaign, celebrating collaboration and innovation across the housing sector. Taking place November 18 in Toronto, the week’s flagship event Voices for Change Toronto will shine a light on the people and partnerships driving real progress towards affordable housing for all.
A Week to Inspire Action
National Housing Week 2025 with Partners for Affordable Housing brings together the Power of P4™—Public, Private, Philanthropic, and Provider partnerships—to show how much more we can achieve when sectors unite. Through storytelling, shared learning, and collective vision, this nationwide campaign highlights proven solutions and inspires bold new approaches to addressing Canada’s housing crisis.
Voices for Change Toronto, held at the World Urban Pavilion in Regent Park from 4pm–7pm, will anchor the week’s activities. The evening event will convene leaders from across housing, philanthropy, social finance, and business for dialogue, art, and collaboration. Featuring keynote speaker Mitchell Cohen, CEO of The Daniels Corporation, the program will explore Regent Park’s transformation from a stigmatized neighbourhood into a thriving, inclusive community—a powerful example of what P4 partnerships can achieve.
The Power of Partnership
National Housing Week extends beyond the Voices for Change Toronto event. A special report in The Globe and Mail will share stories of leadership and innovation from across Canada, alongside national media outreach and local engagement efforts. Together, these initiatives spotlight scalable housing models and champion the organizations and individuals behind them.
Sponsors and partners play a vital role in amplifying these stories and making this campaign possible. From governments and developers to corporate leaders and community organizations, every partner contributes to accelerating housing access nationwide.
As one partner put it, “Building together means combining our strengths—each of us has a role to play in creating affordable, inclusive communities.”
